We are delighted to announce a specialized international technical workshop on Innovative Systems for Seismic Isolation and Energy Dissipation, to be held in Athens, Greece, on 22 May 2026 at the Eugenides Foundation, in collaboration with the Hellenic Association for Earthquake Engineering ( HAEE / ETAM ). Organized by the Anti-Seismic Systems International Society, Inc. (ASSISi), this one-day event will bring together researchers, practitioners, decision-makers, industry representatives, and public-sector stakeholders to explore the latest advances in seismic isolation and earthquake protection technologies.

The workshop will feature keynote presentations on landmark applications including the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) and Athens International Airport, applied methodological frameworks, worked design examples, and an exclusive technical visit to the SNFCC seismic isolation system. As part of the broader ASSISi Joint Event Türkiye–Greece, following the ASSISi Special Session at 8ICEES in Kuşadası, the workshop aims to strengthen dialogue and knowledge exchange across the international earthquake engineering community.
